Babies, Infants and Children
Stainsborough Hall is an idyllic location for children that like to be active outdoors and there is plenty for them to do onsite. We also provide a special welcome gift for children under the age of 14, so please let us know who is coming and their age.
Children are welcome in all cottages and the main house. For infants and babies requiring a travel cot, some cottages are more suitable than others and we recommend that you look at the cottages in more detail when choosing your property.
It is possible to add travel cots in all cottages except Lathkill so please do not book this cottage if you are bringing a baby with you.

We do have travel cots, high chairs and stair gates available upon request.

All bedrooms have black-out blinds installed (and the cords are fitted to the walls).

We do have a children's play area, tennis court and table tennis table to keep your children occupied.

In the games room is an extensive collection of books, DVDs, board games and outdoor toys for you to borrow during your stay.
Safety and Security

Stainsborough Hall is accessed via a 100 meter driveway off a very quiet road, so children are protected from road traffic. However, please teach your children to stop and look before crossing the drive to get to the play area and games room.

The patios are each surrounded by a fence/wall.

The driveway and parking areas are covered by CCTV but please do not leave your children unattended.

Beyond the fenced patio areas there are streams and ponds on the grounds so please watch your children at all times.
