Accessibility

We warmly welcome everyone to Stainsborough Hall and always try to provide our guests with the best possible experience.  We appreciate that some of our guests may have special needs and specific requirements and we have tried as far as possible to anticipate and accommodate these needs.

We do have a rural location and old buildings which can limit the extent to which we are able to provide accessibility to all, but we have tried our best and are always open to working with our guests to make them as comfortable as possible.  Below is information that we hope will enable you to make decisions about which cottage to select and what to expect. If you have any questions or you have specific requests please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

Exterior Environment
  • The site is at the bottom of a valley and is flat.

  • The driveway, car parks and terrace areas have gravel surfaces.

  • There is parking outside each cottage and the main house, and there is not far to walk from the car to enter your property.

  • The car parks and exterior areas are well lit and the lights are on timer switches so they are always on when they are needed.

  • The cottages, communal areas and facilities around the site are well signed so it is easy to navigate your way around.

  • A plan of site is available online - click here - and this can be downloaded before you arrive.  A copy of this plan is also available in your property.
