The Hall

TEN BEDROOM HOUSE FOR TWENTY PEOPLE (+ TWO BABIES OR INFANTS IN A TRAVEL COT)

​The house has been recently renovated throughout and includes ten bedrooms and four bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, two living rooms, a games room with pool table, a dining room with seating for 20, an enormous kitchen, a utility room, boot room, and is arranged over three floors. There are two open fires - one in the living room and one in the television room.

Stylishly decorated throughout, the house is a comfortable and relaxing place to enjoy time with friends and family.

Dogs are not permitted in the main house but we may make exceptions in some cases. (please talk to us).   

Things to Consider when renting the house

We are an ideal venue for groups of friends and families to get together to enjoy the countryside and to relax.  We are not a party-house nor a wedding venue and our terms and conditions reflect this.

​

  • Quiet time is from 10 pm onwards. After this time you do need to be inside so as not to disturb others.

  • The property is not suitable for individuals that are not able to climb stairs as the house is arranged over three floors.

  • Marquees, tipis, and other such structures can not be erected on our site.

  • The maximum occupancy of 20 people is strictly enforced at all times.

Living Rooms

  • There are 4 communal rooms to spend time together in:

  • Drawing Room - a piano, sofas and an open fire.

  • Television Room - with sofas for 12, Sky TV, and a log burner.

  • Dining room with tables and seating for 20 

  • Games Room - with a pub-size pool table.

Kitchen and Utility 

  • The large kitchen is a stunning space all under glass and nestled between the two wings of the building.  

  • The kitchen and utility rooms provide everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. 

  • Oven, Hob, Microwave, Dishwasher, Toaster, Kettle, Fridge, Freezer, Nespresso Coffee machine, washing machine, and dryer. 

  • Cookware for 20 people

  • Glasses for 30 people (champagne, wine, high ball, pint glasses)

  • Crockery and cutlery for up to 30 people (including large, medium, and small plates, pasta and cereal bowls, cups, mugs, etc.)

  • We also leave dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, washing up cloths, bin bags, tea towels, and oven gloves.

Bedrooms

There are six bedrooms on the first floor and four bedrooms on the second floor.

All bedrooms have a chest of drawers, wardrobes, and bedside tables for you to use during your stay.  Bed linen and towels are included.

​

Please note - we are in the process of updating and changing the beds.  More beds will become fixed and there will be less flexibility with bed configurations. 

​

First Floor Bedrooms:

  • Bedroom 1 - Emporer-size bed.

  • Bedroom 2 - King-size zip bed.  (can be made into singles)

  • Bedroom 3 - One double bed.

  • Bedroom 4 - King-size bed.

  • Bedrooms 5 & 6 - are two interconnected rooms with one entrance from the corridor.  Across the two rooms, there is a King-size bed and two single beds.  This room is ideal as a family suite. 

Second Floor Bedrooms:

  • Bedroom 7 - King-size zip bed (can be made into singles) and one single. 

  • Bedroom 8 - Two single beds (zip beds that can be made king)

  • Bedroom 9 - Two single beds (zip beds that can be made king)

  • Bedroom 10 - King-size bed. 

Bathrooms

There are six bathrooms and two half-bathrooms spread over the three floors:

 

  • Ground Floor

    • Cloakroom 1 - with toilet and sink.

    • Cloakroom 2 - with toilet and sink.

 

  • First Floor

    • Bathroom 1 - Jack-and-Jill bathroom with large walk-in shower, double sink unit, and toilet. 

    • Bathroom 2 - Large bathroom with a cast iron bath to relax in, sink unit, and toilet.

    • Bathroom 3 - Walk-in shower, sink unit, and toilet.

  • Second Floor

    • Bathroom 4 - Shower over a bath, toilet, and sink unit. 

    • Bathroom 5 - Shower room with toilet and sink unit.

    • Bathroom 6 - Shower with toilet and sink unit.

 

  • All bathrooms have:

    • Underfloor heating

    • Mirror over the sink

    • Refillable toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. 

    • We leave two towels per person.

Outside

  • There is a large garden and terrace that is bathed in sun throughout the day. 

  • We’ve provided outdoor tables and chairs for 20 and a Charcoal Barbecue.

  • There are comfortable outdoor chairs on the Ha-Ha, ideally placed to enjoy the sunset.

  • Hot Tub - Log fired, with bubbles and seating up to 10 people at a time.  (£200 extra fee for use)

  • Children's Play ground
