Rates, Dates and Payments
Below you will find all the information you need for rates, season dates, additional payments, and our payment processes. These apply to bookings made through our own site only.
Rates (per night)
Rates vary throughout the year to find the price of your cottage please access the booking online page.
There is a two-night minimum booking for all reservations, except for reservations that start on Thursday where there is a three-night minimum and over the Christmas period (four-night minimum) and New Year (three-night minimum).
During the Christmas and New Year period the weekend peak rate applies to all days.
For all bookings, a Refundable Damage Deposit will be collected and returned within seven days - for more information click here.
Reservations for stays between 1 October and 31 March attract an additional 'log' fee at a rate of £25 per log burner/open fire. This is to cover the cost of providing one basket of logs, firelighters, and kindling for your log burner during your stay, as follows:
Stainsborough Hall (Main House) - two open fires/log burners - 2 baskets - £50
Derwent, Dovedale, Henmore, Summer, and Lathkill cottages - one log burner - 1 basket - £25
All Holiday cottages (with exclusive use of Summer Cottage for group meals and cooking) - five log burners - 5 baskets - £125
The pet fee is £25 per pet, per stay. (please note pets are not accepted in the main house)
We take payments for all reservations, as follows:
At time of booking - 25% of total reservation cost to secure booking.
6 Weeks before arrival - balance payment for reservation cost and applicable additional fees.*
5 Days before arrival - refundable damage deposit payment.
* For Reservations between 18 December and 3 January - balance payments are required 10 weeks before arrival.
