Stainsborough Hall and its Holiday Cottages offer comfortable and spacious self-catering accommodation for large groups and individual families in a stunning rural location. Our cottages are the perfect base for exploring the local area, with plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained. From walking and cycling to visiting local attractions, you’re guaranteed to create some wonderful holiday memories with us.

The Hall

The Hall, set apart from the cottages, is perfect for groups of up to 20 people who can stay comfortably in the ten bedrooms, two living rooms, a games room with pool table, dining room with seating for 20 people, and enormous kitchen. Recently renovated, the Hall is stylishly decorated throughout and provides a comfortable and relaxing place to enjoy time with friends and family.

Stainsborough Hall Holiday Cottages is the perfect place for an unforgettable family holiday. We have five dog-friendly cottages that can be hired individually for smaller groups or all together for larger groups. All our cottages are well-maintained and have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

This tranquil estate is located on the shore of Carsington Water, with direct access to the traffic-free trail around the reservoir, making it an ideal retreat for walkers, cycling, and holidaymakers looking to take advantage of the stunning scenery. And while the cottages are set in a stunning rural and remote location, local attractions such as the Heights of Abraham, Cromford, Matlock, Ashbourne, and The Peak District National Park are all within easy reach.

Our nearest country pub is a one-mile walk away across the fields where you'll be met with some lovely food and warm welcome.
